Klaus Nickisch, Ph.D.

Klaus has 28 years of experience at numerous technical and managerial positions at Schering AG. His last position was Head of Project Management, overseeing with around 80 people all development projects of Schering AG. After the merger of Schering with Bayer AG, he was part of a management team that started the female health biotech company, Evestra, in 2008. At Evestra, Inc. he worked as CSO for 10 years and finally one year as interim CEO. Under his guidance, Evestra brought 4 vaginal ring projects into the clinic besides working on NCE projects. In 2020 Klaus decided to leave Evestra, in order to build up a new biotech company focusing on vaginal delivery of drugs.
